Type hints clutter your editor when you know the types already.
Solution
Add to settings.json:

For conditional hints (press Alt to show):

Find settings via Cmd+Shift+P → “Preferences: Open Settings (JSON)”.
When to Use
- Complex TypeScript interfaces with obvious types
- Legacy codebases with verbose typing
- When focusing on logic over type information
- Screen sharing or presentations
- Large monitors with limited space
